Proctored Practice Tests
We offer SAT and ACT practice tests, as well as practice tests for private school admissions exams, AP subjects, and subject-based diagnostic assessments.
We strongly recommend practice tests to every student – as part of our holistic approach to test prep, a practice test is an important piece of the puzzle when creating a tutoring plan that will work best for you.
Utilizing your practice test scores, our team will collaborate with you to assess your strengths and areas for improvement and set an appropriate score goal. From here, you and your tutor will be ready to start addressing the three core components of our unique test prep process: content, strategy, and psychology.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The week of your test, you’ll receive a Zoom link to join the exam. Your live proctor will be online 15 minutes before start time to answer any questions and to help you get situated. The practice test is intended to represent real test-taking conditions, so the rules described by your proctor must be followed in order for your test to be scored. (For instance, students are not allowed to leave their workspace unless released for a break.) Once you finish the test, you may need to upload a scan or photo of your answer sheet(s) using an online form, depending on your test’s format.
-
If you are still undecided about which test to pursue, we recommend taking a practice test for each. This way, you can get a sense of the differences in pacing and content across the two tests. With two score reports to compare, our team will advise which exam seems to be a better fit.
-
Our team will grade your practice test and send out your comprehensive score report within 1-3 business days of your test.
-
Yes – we offer both standard and 50% extended time options for all of our practice tests. Generally, we advise practicing with the time constraints you're likely to be under on your official test day. If you think that you qualify for extended time accommodations on the real test, consult your school counselor for help in the application process.
-
For virtually-proctored tests, we will mail physical copies of the answer sheet and test booklet the week of your test; your proctor will direct you to submit your answer sheet at the end of your test.
Please note that registration for weekend tests closes on the preceding Monday to allow enough time for delivery. If you would prefer to pickup your materials from our office, please contact us at 503/468-6905 or info@northaveeducation.com with as much advance notice as possible.
For in-person tests, we will have printed materials waiting for your student when they arrive, as well as scratch paper, pencils, and graphing calculators for their use.
