What's one thing you love about tutoring?

One thing I love about tutoring is helping my students become more confident in solving the problems that they get assigned to them.

How do you keep students engaged During tutoring sessions?

I keep students engaged by relating the material back to something they are interested in or encouraging them on how much they’ve already improved.

What's one study tip every student should know?

One thing that really helps remembering material for the exam is reviewing the problems you went over in class, right after lecture.

What was your favorite class in high school and why?

My favorite class in high school was Chemistry because we got to learn about the chemical reactions that happen around us everyday and also use math to make our own.

share an example of a student you were proud of for reaching their goals.

I was proud of one of my students for getting a better grade on their exam than their previous one because they were able to see the results of their hard work.

What do you admire about your students?

I admire their grit and desire to understand the material, especially when it is not something that initially interests them, because there is merit in trying to accomplish something difficult in order to achieve your goals.
